Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of TivTap (tivtap.com). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use TivTap.

The service

TivTap lets you create a digital business card, share it by link and QR code, collect contacts, accept payment links, and use related tools such as the email signature generator and card scanner. The service is currently provided free of charge. If paid plans are introduced, existing free features will remain available and any charges will be clearly presented before you pay.

Your account

• You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use TivTap.

Your content

• You keep ownership of everything you put on your card. You grant us the limited license we need to host, display and transmit it as part of the service.
• You are responsible for having the right to use the photos, logos and links you upload.
• Your card is public to anyone with its link. Do not put anything on it you would not hand to a stranger on a paper card.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Impersonate another person or business, or create deceptive cards.
• Use TivTap for spam, scams, phishing or unlawful content.
• Scrape, overload or attempt to break the service or other users' cards.
• Misuse payment buttons (for example, collecting payments under false pretenses). Payments happen between you and your customer through the payment service you link; TivTap is not a party to those transactions and does not process or hold funds.

We may suspend or remove accounts or cards that violate these rules.

Contacts you collect

When someone shares their details with you through your card, or you scan their paper card, you are responsible for using that information lawfully and respectfully — for example, honoring requests to be removed and complying with applicable marketing and privacy laws.

Intellectual property

The TivTap name, logo, design and software belong to us. You may not copy or reuse them except as the service intends (for example, sharing your own card).

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TivTap is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or losses arising from your use of the service, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or $100 if you paid nothing).

Changes and termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or in the app, and continued use after the update means acceptance. We may discontinue features with reasonable notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
